I feel as though I've spent almost my entire life in broadcasting. My first job was hosting a teen show on WYSR in Franklin, Virginia, when I was 13. I was out of broadcasting a few years holding down "real" jobs and then I found my way back into broadcasting. In the fall of 1987 I moved to Tuscaloosa from South Alabama to go back to college. At that time I began working at WUAL-FM in the news department.

After two years at WUAL it was back to the world of commercial broadcasting until moving to Huntsville. It is great to be back in public radio.

I have two grown children: Rob who lives in Foley and Becky who lives in Montgomery with her family. I also have a fifteen year old son Chip.
