Phone: 256-824-6422

Due to the recent economic changes, many small businesses are finding it harder to compete on government contracts. In order to stay competitive, small businesses are finding it necessary to create Joint Ventures. Andrew Watson and Jon Levin, attorneys with Maynard Cooper and Gale, PC, will discuss the special features of Formal/Informal and Populated/Unpopulated joint ventures. In addition, they will discuss 8(a)'s, Alaska Native Corporations, and Mentor Protégé exceptions along with the advantages and disadvantages.
