The event will be held on April 18, 2013 at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration and will feature speaches by those who are involved with Parkinson's research including Dr. Andrew West from the University of Alabama Birmingham, Dr. Randall Moreadith, CEO of biotech company Serina Therapeutics, Inc., and the keynote speaker, Colonel Michael Richard (Rich) Clifford, a veteran of thee space shuttle missions the last of which he flew 2 years after being diagnosed with Parkinson;s disease. There will be a social followed by a southern style barbecue dinner, Those attending will have the opportunity to talk with and ask questions of the speakers.
