The Merrimack Mill Village Organization invites you to an educational program on Wednesday, April 23rd, at 6:00 pm at Merrimack Hall. Guest speakers are to discuss the architectural history of Merrimack Mill Village and preservation tips for homeowners. This event is open to the public. Anyone interested in architecture and Huntsville's rich cotton mill history may enjoy this program! The architectural history segment will be presented by Dr. Carroll Van West, who serves as Tennessee's State Historian and director of the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University. The preservation segment will be presented by Ms. Jessica White, who recently joined the City of Huntsville as Historic Preservation Consultant within the City's Inspection Department. We hope you will join us and bring any questions you may have for the Q&A segment at the end of the program.
