The Huntsville Traditional Music Association has invited the Blue Velvet Band for April’s music on the mountain coffeehouse. The Blue Velvet Band plays old jazz standards from the big band era and an eclectic mix of light pop and rock. The band features vocalist Ellen Hood with the musical backing of Dan Charles on violin and Bob and Bartie Scott on guitar and bass respectively. The music on the mountain begins at 7 PM Thursday, April 24, in the old church at Burritt museum. The coffeehouse is open to the public.
