Thursday, June 18, 2015

No Kill Huntsville is a coalition of local animal welfare advocates, rescuers, and shelter directors working together to create a no kill community; a place where healthy and treatable animals are not destroyed in the municipal shelter. Spokesperson Aubrie Kavanaugh spoke with Ginny Kennedy what can be done to accomplish this goal and about a documentary film showing next week that provides some insight into the nationwide no-kill movement. The documentary No Kill Redemption was screened Monday June 22nd at 6 PM at Lee High School.
