Timely Tales Told (and Sung) in "Ragtime"

The musical “Ragtime” opens June 16th at the Lee High School Theatre. The show presented by Independent Musical Productions features a complex story and large cast. Two of cast members, Sonja Eames who plays Mother and Meghan Phelps who portrays the real-life character Evelyn Nesbitt, talked with Ginny Kennedy about this sweeping musical and how it remains relevant today. The show is directed by Patrick Johnson. Other cast members include, Darin Windham, Bill Hubsher, Granville Oldham and Ron Harris. Ragtime opens runs for two weekends.
