FRI (local music) Estelle's Grave, Dead Nerves, and Knympho Knife at Copper Top, Huntsville.
SAT Opus Tadpole presents 'The Oboe' by Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. This hand-on activity for children and adults allows you to explore musical instruments. Begins 10:15am.
SAT 37th annual Ellen McAnelly Memorial St. Patrick's Day Parade, downtown square Huntsville. Parade starts at Monroe and Jefferson, and circles the courthouse. Begins 11:30
SAT 10th Birthday Bash for Huntsville Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau, CVB downtown Huntsville. New addition to CVB offices unveiled 2pm. Runs 9am-5pm.
SAT (local music) Send More Cops, We Dwell Within, Jacks Remains, and Liberty In Embers at Copper Top, Huntsville.
SUN 50th anniversary concert by Huntsville Concert Band, Lee HS auditorium. Reception follows the concert. Begins 3pm.
MON (local music) St. Patrick's Day Celebration w. Slipjig at Flying Monkey Arts Theatre, Lowe Mill, Huntsville. 7pm.
WED (3/19) TEDx Global Conference at Huntsville Museum of Art. Hosted by TEDxHuntsville. Open to the public. Refreshments served. 6pm-10:30pm.
SUN/ONGOING "Spring Burst Hiking Series" by Land Trust of North Alabama. Botanist Lynne Weninegar leads a hike on Wildflower Trail. Open to the public. Begins Sunday 2pm.
