Helen Keller Art Show of Alabama, an annual juried competition of works by Alabama children who are visually impaired, blind or deaf-blind, is at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art, 511 N. Water St., Tuscumbia, Monday, June 4, to Friday, June 29. Open to students in Alabama public, private and residential schools, this annual exhibition tours state museums and agency galleries from February through June. It arrives at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art, just yards away from Helen Keller’s birthplace, in time for Keller’s birthday on June 27.
Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-3 p.m. Sundays. Admission fee,Sunday open to the public
