The City of Decatur Parks and Recreation Department begins its 2012 Concerts by the River season on Monday, May 7, 2012. A variety of musical styles are offered throughout the concert season. All concerts are open to the public and are held each Monday from 6:00-8:00 at Rhodes Ferry Park, located at 100 Market Street NE. The series begins the first Monday in May and continues through the last Monday of August. There will not be a concert on Memorial Day, May 28 or on July 2. In case of inclement weather, the decision to cancell or relocate the concert to an alternate location will be posted on the Decatur Parks and Recreation Department website and Facebook page.
