Every artist and maker at Lowe mill A&E is a local small business, and many will be participating in Small Business Saturday. Each participating studio will have something special, so be sure to make your way through ALL we have to offer. This is a great time to get a jump start on your Holiday shopping list and help your community at the same time! An artist demonstration schedule will be posted here once everything is finalized. Small Business Saturday, which takes place on November 25 this year and runs throughout the holiday shopping season, encourages consumers to support local businesses by shopping small. American Express launched this shopping holiday in 2010, at the height of the Great Recession, as a way of redirecting holiday shopping to local stores. A decade later, it’s observed in all 50 states.
