HSO Presents Mahler and Rachmaninov

The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra will end its classical series this weekend with a couple of firsts – Rachmaninov’s first piano concerto and the Symphony no. 1 of Gustav Mahler. Maestro Gregory Vajda and guest pianist Gilles Vonsattel joined Ginny Kennedy to talk about concert and reveal the hidden familiar tune in the Rachmaninov. The concert is Saturday, April 13th at 7:30 in the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall. Tickets and information are available at at www.hso.org or by calling (256) 715-6075.
