A new Garden exhibit will unfold: ORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN, created by Santa Fe artists Jennifer and Kevin Box in collaboration with world-renowned origami artists. Inspired by the art of folding paper to make elegant objects, ORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN transforms simple concepts into large-scale metal sculptures that will find their place among our own plant collections to delight, awe, and inspire.

Join the Monrovia Friends of the Library for your Easter pictures!
A suggested donation of $25 for a 15 minute session with a professional photographer in front of our adorable Easter themed background! Participants will leave with 5 or more untouched digital pictures on a USB drive.

New Hope's Seventh Annual Quilt Show Quilts Then and Now will display quilts and the stories behind them.
Quilt Show Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the library door leading to the community room. Quilts will be available for viewing 10a.m -2p.m. The Bed Turning presentation is at 11a.m. and 1p.m. featured quilts will be displayed one at a time and the history of each one will be narrated.
ChargerCon is a free annual gaming convention held at UAH that features video game tournaments, tabletop games, free play areas, workshops, talks, a cosplay contest and other main stage shows. We have some great prizes such as a PS5, a Nintendo Switch, a Quest 2, a Steam Deck, computer hardware and more lined up for tournament and contest winners this year!

Spring is here! It is time to plant our vegetable garden so we can enjoy fresh veggies all summer long. In this class, students will learn about the parts of a seed and how to care for your own vegetable garden. See first-hand examples in the Garden and take home plants to start your own garden at home!
