Brett is a 27-year veteran of public television and radio. He's won more than 30 journalism awards, including a national Edward R. Murrow award and RTDNA's international UNITY award for excellence in coverage of diversity issues. He was also lucky enough to spend several years recording commentaries from legendary storyteller Kathryn Tucker Windham, which stands as one of his all-time favorite things about working in broadcasting.
Bob Nance settled in Huntsville before the turn of the century and decided that this was the place to be! He has been a husband, father, physicist, business owner and musician, but most importantly, a member of WLRH since 1996. Working with the family at WLRH is an exciting opportunity to give back to this place we call home.
Ginny Kennedy is a native of Huntsville. She began her radio career as a graduate student in Communications at Georgia State University in Atlanta. An internship at WABE in Atlanta led to a varied career as a classical music host, news anchor, flying traffic reporter, and wacky sidekick on a country station. She has been at WLRH in Huntsville for the past 20 years and feels privileged to be part of a station that serves the community. When not working, Ginny enjoys spending time with her many critters including her horse Alex.
Jordan Clavon was born and raised in Los Angeles California where he spent much of his time playing the Flute in various school bands. He moved to Huntsville in 2017 to pursue a degree in Communication with a minor in Photography at Oakwood University, then transferred to the University of Alabama in Huntsville to graduate in 2023. He has a deep passion for supporting local artists and loves live music! Catch him hosting Science Fridays and breaking shows on Saturday afternoons on HD1!
