Picnic in the Park takes place this summer at Ken Johnston Park on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dates run now through June 25th and July 7th through 23rd. Held under the pavilion at the corner of Bailey Cove Road and Mountain Gap Road, the event includes free lunches for adults and children. This program is part of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Each Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m., the Rocket Center is serving authentic German food and beverages under the Saturn V Moon Rocket in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration. Madison Visionary Partners and Main Street Madison present Third Thursdays in Downtown Madison.
