The Greene Street Market at Nativity opens for its 15th season beginning May 1. It will take place every Thursday afternoon starting at 3 pm through the end of October. You're invited to meet the farmers who grow your food, listen to live music, and pick out a dinner to take home! Mountain Valley Arts Council will host its Spring Concerts in the Park at Errol Allan Park in downtown Guntersville on Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM starting April 17th and running through May 22nd. There will be music from a variety of North Alabama Bands - JED Eye, Foster, Barefoot Blues, Common Thread, Emily Joseph Band, and Rally Stripe Band. On Friday, May 2nd & Saturday, May 3rd, the Jemison Fine Arts Department is having a community festival called the Jaguar Bazaar. This will be a pre-show event for the Dr. Mae Jemison Theatre's production of Aladdin Jr. with food trucks, a bouncy house, local vendors, and a live street performance from 3:00-6:30pm.
