The Columbia High School Band Program, Shelman D. Miller, Director, presents the Huntsville Concert Band, under the direction of Marsha Asquith, in a concert of marches from around the world. A $5 donation to the Columbia High School Band Program is requested for admission to the concert.

HUNNIVEGA combines the energy and power of punk anthems with the sweet leads and familiarity of roots music. The band consists of Kam Jones on guitar and vocals, Josh Passon on bass guitar, and Corey Killough on drums. HUNNIVEGA is a raw, authentic, gut punching band that isn't afraid to stand up for what they believe in as evidenced by their EP CULTURE CRITIC.

To celebrate Women's History Month, Valley Arts and Entertainment will host 3-time Grammy nominated jazz artist Kate McGarry on Friday, March 31st at The Studio Theatre at Lowe Mill. McGarry will present a historical program, performance and conduct a masterclass for singers.

The North Alabama Country Dance Society holds dances with caller and live music on the first Saturday of the month. Newcomers workshop begins at 6:30pm and the dance is from 7 to 10 at the Faith Presbyterian Church Gym on Airport Road. No partner or dance experience required. The Madison Community Band’s annual Spring Concert kicks off its 30th performance season! The program, “An American Spring,” features performances drawn from America’s vast musical heritage. You’ll hear timeless music created by Americans for Americans to enjoy, with works by Aaron Copland, Percy Grainger, Charles Ives, Joseph Wilcox Jenkins, Clare Grundman, and Frank Ticheli.

Musician Nikki Lane will perform at The Princess Theatre as one of her Denim & Diamonds Tour stops. Lane’s third album: Highway Queen confirms the South Carolina raised, Nashville-based artist’s place as a gifted songwriter. The album, co-produced by Lane and fellow singer-songwriter, Jonathan Tyler, is an blends potent lyrics, unbridled blues guitar and vintage Sixties country-pop swagger. The music resonates as easily with Lana Del Rey and Jenny Lewis fans as those of Neil Young and Tom Petty. The Show will be opened by Leroy of the North who brings a sound of 70's gold with a bit of Detroit Steel to the mix.

Huntsville Community Chorus Association's student singers present their annual concert "Why We Sing", featuring their four children and youth choirs. Traditional and new choral music will be featured, scholarship awards will be made and graduating seniors will be honored.
The concert will close with all choirs & alumnae singing "Why We Sing" - the banner song of the educational mission of HCCA
