Valley Sounds is a weekly spotlight on original music created and performed Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley.

This week on Valley Sounds (#278), our music spotlight shines on A Jene. Also, so many new records are coming from our Valley music scene! We have the latest local singles … New Anxieties by The Narrative, Demons of My Past by Ally Free, Widow by Shrimpa, and Sweet Baby by The Crash. Also, music by Amber Cavanaugh and Gareth Pearson, who recently performed in Huntsville at Tangled String Studios. Brett Tannehill
Brett is a 25-year veteran of public television and radio. He's won more than 30 journalism awards, including a national Edward R. Murrow award and RTDNA's international UNITY award for excellence in coverage of diversity issues. He was also lucky enough to spend several years recording commentaries from legendary storyteller Kathryn Tucker Windham, which stands as one of his all-time favorite things about working in broadcasting.
