English as a second language classes will begin August 6 at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church. Classes are every Wednesday morning from 930 to noon. Instruction includes grammar and conversation for all levels as well as preparation for taking the US citizenship test. Childcare for preschoolers and some transportation is provided. Join us for our 15th Annual Simply Christmas Artisan Craft Show on Saturday, December 6 (8:00am-3:00pm) at Monte Sano United Methodist Church. Over 50 vendors will be selling unique, one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts. Vendors include visual artists, authors, woodworkers, jewelry makers, and much more. Along with shopping, we will be offering a chili lunch benefiting Monte Sano UMC’s missions, a Bake Sale featuring baked goods and frozen meals, and live Christmas music from various musicians throughout the day. Shop, eat and celebrate the season with us!

The North Alabama Mental Health Coalition meets monthly at WellStone in Huntsville, bringing together service providers, advocates, law enforcement, educators, and community members. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m., offering updates, collaborative discussion, and guest speakers on mental health topics. Presented by Little Orange Fish.
