The 58th annual Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention is October 1st–4th at Athens State University. There will be performances by Joe Mullins and The Radio Ramblers, Pitney Meyer, Jimmy Fortune, and Rhonda Vincent and the Rage. This family friendly event also features arts and crafts and food. The North Alabama Mental Health Coalition meets monthly at WellStone in Huntsville, bringing together service providers, advocates, law enforcement, educators, and community members. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m., offering updates, collaborative discussion, and guest speakers on mental health topics. Presented by Little Orange Fish.
