Fantasy Playhouse Children's Theater & Academy presents Cinderella. Adapted by Stephen Tyler Davis. A joyful kickoff to Fantasy Playhouse’s 65th Season On the Boulevard, this new work blends heart, humor, and original songs that shine. Cinderella runs through Oct. 17-19, 24-26 on the Boulevard. English as a second language classes will begin August 6 at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church. Classes are every Wednesday morning from 930 to noon. Instruction includes grammar and conversation for all levels as well as preparation for taking the US citizenship test. Childcare for preschoolers and some transportation is provided. SPARKLE Studio will close for 2 hours every Wednesday for a FREE community gathering focused on witchy friendship, sharing, and networking. We now meet in Studio 1047, UAH Project Space, on the first floor of the north building; park by Door 2. Arrive any time between 4 and 7, and feel free to bring adult beverages or snacks to share. The meeting ends at 7 when Lowe Mill closes to the public. What we do is up to you—share skills, craft, relax, or suggest new ideas. Bring a loving spirit, as our space is all-inclusive and welcoming to everyone.

CAJA of Madison County supports community members to advocate for abused and neglected children in the juvenile court system. CAJA volunteers independently investigate cases and advocate for the needs of children until they are placed in a safe, permanent home. The next volunteer training begins on October 23, 2025. The Greene Street Market at Nativity opens for its 15th season beginning May 1. It will take place every Thursday afternoon starting at 3 pm through the end of October. You're invited to meet the farmers who grow your food, listen to live music, and pick out a dinner to take home! Each Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m., the Rocket Center is serving authentic German food and beverages under the Saturn V Moon Rocket in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration. Huntsville Ballet presents Beneath the October Moon, a Halloween-themed ballet, and The Shape of a Promise, live at the Dream Theater on October 24, 25, and 26. Parking is available.
